 | Latest Poem: Soul Searching |
I have dreams of ancient lands. I fantasize about times When trees soared high And the beach waves thundered With mysterious depths.
I see visions of The untainted sky Before it became azure. I dream of times long past When the sands lie unmoving Except for the occasional breeze, Which stirred their memories.
I can feel the touch of air Weightless, before it became Heavy with pollution. I can hear it, The music of the stars Before they were blocked out By apathy.
I dream of a vast ocean With waters so clear that Even the pale firmament Cannot conceal its Undaunted beauty.
I can see leagues of Velvet grass meadows Like a sea of emerald, Undisturbed by foot and paw, And a forest of giants that sing Instead of moan As they sway to the pulse Of the earth.
I dream of mountains, Titans of the world, Unwearied and without erosion As they brush against the sky. I watch a rolling tundra of clouds Of the purest white And listen as they ride the winds.
I dream of a world without flaws, Where colors sing And music dances. I dream of a home, Uninhabited by corruption And tribulations. I dream of dreams, Forever searching for my Utopia. |
